Zoals in eerdere posting aangekondigd zitten Simon en ik vandaag en morgen in Barcelona. We bezoeken de incentivevakbeurs EIBTM. Als echte ´vroege vogels´ vlogen we om 06:30 uur vanochtend naar Barcelona. Gisteren trouwens online de check-in al gedaan dat vervolgens betekent dat je pas om 06:00 uur op Schiphol hoeft te zijn. Dat scheelt...:-). Veilig aangekomen in Barca, hebben we ons vandaag ondergedompeld in afspraken. Gesproken met bekende agenten (vooral leuk om ze te zien en in sommige gevallen eens persoonlijk kennis te maken) en uiteraard ook nieuwe ontmoet (waarvan een deel overigens nog moest bijkomen van de avond en nacht ervoor...).
Highlights: Noorwegen als bestemming met natuurlijk de Fjorden, Lapland (kennen we van Finland, maar in Noorwegen zijn er geen bossen en zijn het vooral bergen en uitgestrekte sneeuwvlaktes), Oslo (leuke niet al te grote stad met zowel cultuur als nightlive en outdoor actieve mogelijkheden) en als ´once in a lifetime experience´ Spitsbergen (ongelooflijke bestemming, temidden van zee en ijs en bijvoorbeeld een overnachting in een Nederlands ingevroren schip). Maar ook het vriendelijke en gastvrije Cyprus lonkt met vooral veel natuur, historie, cultuur en niet te vergeten een overheerlijke ´cuisine´. IJsland blijft natuurlijk geweldig (en is ook te vinden op onze site), maar ontwikkeld zich in rap tempo ook tot hippe en trendy bestemming waar je vooral culinair echt uit je dak kan gaan! Tot slot een bevlogen boomlange Schot (in kilt natuurlijk) gesproken. Onze agent in Schotland: Bill. Deze man is zo inspirerend! Geweldige zeer bijzondere programma´s en vooral is hij als geen ander in staat om met ons een (out of the box) programma te bedenken, helemaal toegespitst op de doelgroep en doelstelling van onze opdrachtgever (een aantal agenten verzanden nogal eens in het aanbieden van de standaard programma´s helaas). Een agent naar mijn hart dus! Tot slot het Scalaria. Het Scalaria (uitspraak met klemtoon op ´ria´) in Oostenrijk is een aparte vermelding waard. (toevallig hebben we dit hotel onlangs nog voorgelegd aan een opdrachtgever). Over beleving gesproken. Echt om te smullen. Check de site voor een impressie van dit ongelooflijke hotel!
