Eerlijk gezegd, tijdens spitsuren adem je geen heerlijk frisse schone lucht in, maar daar moet je even doorheen. Zodra je gewend bent aan het plakken van je shirt aan je lichaam, en de niet al te schone lucht kan je echt genieten van deze geweldige stad!!

En hoe Hollandser dan de stad ontdekken op de fiets! De Nederlander Co van Kessel is 15 jaar geleden op het briljante plan gekomen om fietstochten te organiseren dwars door Bangkok en omgeving. Even weg van de vervuilende taxi's, scooters en tuktuks, terug naar de oerhollandse mileuvriendelijke fiets!!

Maar wat hebben wij ons vergist! Gisteren hebben wij de meest geweldige ervaring van onze trip gehad, heel simpel op de fiets! Met 6 anderen echte 'Hollanders' verzamelden we om 7 uur 's ochtends in Chinatown voor de tour... Onze Thaise begeleiders (Co had sinds enkele jaren weer eens 2 dagen vrij vertelde hij na de tour) wachtten ons met een glimlach op en vertelden hun ervaringen met fietsland Nederland.
